Geena Lovato

Geena is a first year MSW student at California State University, Northridge. An actress for many years, Geena received her BFA in theater from California State University, Fullerton. She has most recently worked in social media as a strategist for a social justice focused production company as well as her own coaching business that focuses on dating and relationships. She decided to pursue a career in social work after she became active in recovery programs and ultimately wants to become a therapist in order to help people struggling with mental health and attachment related issues. 

In her free time, Geena loves to travel with her husband, host board-game nights with their friends, spend the day at Disneyland, and curl up on the couch with their dog, Chance.
