We’re creating a culinary competition and keeping it local by partnering with the renowned Institute of Culinary Education (ICE) located on Green Street in Pasadena. On Friday, June 23rd this fun, lively, and, dare we say, tasteful evening will highlight the very real problem of food insecurity in our local community, while raising vital funding for all FID programs that serve greater Pasadena.

Inspired by popular television shows, this showdown will have teams of ICE students creating dishes from kitchen pantry staples and “mystery” ingredients chosen directly from our Food Pantry’s weekly grocery distributions. At the end of one hour, a panel of professional judges will name the winner of Cooking for a Cause 2023!

We are incredibly grateful to our 2023 Cooking for a Cause Sponsors
