Jane Armbruster
Jane started volunteering at the FID Food Pantry in February 2013, and her love and passion for it was immediate. Six months later, she began volunteering in The Women’s Room program as well. A seasoned performer, working nights and weekends freed up her days to be spent at Friends In Deed. In October 2014, Jane was hired to run a former FID program known as Norma’s Nook. Jane has worked at our Bad Weather Shelter, assisted with our EPRA program, and finally settled in as the Program Associate and Case Counselor to The Women’s Room, which was her dream all along. Jane sees her role at Friends In Deed as not just a job, but a calling. She feels it is a blessing to have the opportunity to wake up and be of service every day.
When not at work, Jane can often be found at the Disneyland Parks, riding roller coasters at Knott’s Berry Farm, or attending horror conventions. All things Disney & Horror are Jane’s main passions, along with quality time with friends and family.
