Marlene started at Friends In Deed in 2010 as a Homeless Prevention Case Manager. In 2014 she became Director of The Women’s Room, but has since moved back to her roots as Assistant Director of EPRA (formerly Homeless Prevention). 

Marlene attended University of California, Santa Barbara, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree. She enjoys spending time with her family, doing arts and crafts with her kids, playing dominoes with her sister and father, and watching the DODGERS play (especially when they win!)
