Michael started at Friends In Deed in April of 2021 in the role of Street Outreach Worker. He comes to FID with having worked at multiple organizations, such as CARECEN (immigration office) and First to Serve (currently). Those clients are in need of representation and assistance, and he feels this has been his calling card. Michael says his life experience has brought him to assist others in need, as he feels he knows how hard life can be. Helping others has brought him personal joy within himself, along with humility.

Michael attended California State University of Los Angeles (CSULA) and received his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology. He enjoys working out and walking his cocker spaniel (Brownie), along with spending time with family.
