Russell grew up in the beautiful City of Pasadena, where he volunteered from an early age as part of Cub Scouts and The Boy Scouts of America. He went on to achieve the highest rank of Eagle Scout, after completing years of service to the community. You can visit the prayer garden he built at Mater Dolorosa Passionist Retreat center in Sierra Madre, CA.
 
He has been volunteering for decades with Project Angel Food, a local non-profit organization, delivering food and cooking meals for the homebound.
 
Russell received his B.A. from California Polytechnic University. He went on to start a great career in Real Estate, specializing in Multi-family housing. He worked with many non-profits to help create housing, alleviate homelessness and add to the affordable housing pool in Los Angeles.
 
He is grateful to bring his knowledge and expertise to Friends In Deed.
