Stephanie Hernandez

Stephanie Hernandez started at Friends In Deed as an MSW Outreach intern in January 2022.

Previous to FID, Stephanie used to work in health insurance, enrolling low-income families in healthcare coverage. Stephanie also worked as a case manager for individuals with disabilities in Chicago. Her passion for helping others encouraged her to work with vulnerable populations

Stephanie earned her Bachelors in Psychology from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame in IN. She is working on her master’s in Social Work from the University of Kentucky. In her free time, she likes to take her dog to the park, watch crime shows, and
spend time with family.
