A Southern California native, Stacey completed her B.A. at the California State University, Fullerton, her M.A. from the University of California, Riverside, and received her Ph.D. in the History of Art from Boston University. She enjoyed a vibrant career as an academic art gallery director, curator, editor, and professor in the history of photography and visual culture before volunteering at Friends In Deed in 2018. She soon embraced the opportunity to capitalize on her creative, administrative, and leadership skills to help realize FID’s mission and serve the community. Stacey worked to alleviate food insecurity and food waste for three years as the Food Pantry Manager and now focuses on helping clients stay in their homes as Director of EPRA.
